Grades 6-12

Theatre arts education integrates life and learning through experience. Comprehensive classes are led by professional teaching artists to enhance creative expression while developing useful life skills.

Session 2: Scene Study
Tuesdays, 3:30-4:30

March 21 – April 18
Instructor: Tamara Koltes

We may think about acting one play, movie, or show at a time, but most of your time as an actor will be spent digging deep into each scene to get the most out of your performance.  This class will help you attain that valuable skill set.  Families and friends, come see the scenes on the final day!

Session 3: Acting the Song
Tuesdays, 3:30-4:30

May 2 – 30
Instructor: Jackie Olson

Is there any greater joy for a musically-inclined actor than belting out a song?  Is there any greater intimidation for those of us not so musically-inclined?  Newcomers and pros alike will learn how to get the most out of a musical number in this class, and how to tell the story through song!  Join us on the final day for a musical performance.
